The Shibuya Stream Hotel
The Shibuya Stream Hotel is nestled right in the middle of Tokyo’s bustling nightlife. Between the incredible views from the floor-to-ceiling windows and the super convenient access to Shibuya Station, you really can’t beat this hotel. It’s a clean, modern, and stress-free base that makes exploring the city effortless.
Why We Like The Shibuya Stream Hotel
The Shibuya Stream hotel is in a fantastic location. It’s conveniently located in the heart of Shibuya, close to JR and subway stations, and it’s easily accessible from both Haneda Airport and Narita Airport.
It’s within walking distance to the famous Shibuya crosswalk, and there are tons and tons of restaurants, bars, and all the shopping you can handle. The hotel opened in 2018 and is clean, comfortable, and safe with huge floor-to-ceiling windows.
Shibuya Stream Hotel Standard Twin Room

The Standard Twin Room
We stayed in the standard twin room. It’s a great size for two people and has a nice layout. There are huge windows with a great view of Tokyo. We were surprised that the room was fairly quiet, considering the area.
The room is clean and has great amenities, including a hot water heater, tea, drip coffee, and complimentary sparkling and still water. There’s an in-room safe, air purifier, hairdryer, small empty refrigerator, and slippers.
The TV is a bit small for the room size and in an awkward location, but it works. Also, the beds seemed a little too soft, but I’m sure a lot of people really like them.

Hotel Facilities
The hotel has a complimentary fitness center, but it’s small with limited equipment and no treadmill. There is also a laundry room with three washer-dryer combo machines.
All of the rooms are non-smoking, with a smoking room located on the lobby floor. Check-in is at two o’clock in the afternoon, and checkout is at eleven o’clock in the morning.

The Restaurant
There’s a restaurant located on the lobby floor that’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The breakfast is buffet style, and it’s pretty good. They mostly have Western foods and a few Japanese options. There is a drip coffee machine, and if you want an espresso, a cappuccino, or a latte, you can ask the staff to prepare it for you.

Transportation to the Hotel
From Narita Airport, you can take the Limousine Bus or Narita Express. They both take about 80-90 minutes.
From Haneda Airport, you can take the Limousine Bus or Tokyo Monorail. The Limousine Bus takes about 50 minutes and is more direct than the Monorail. If you take the Monorail, you’ll need to transfer to the Yamanote line at Hamamatsucho Station.
JR Narita Express Train

Shibuya Station
Shibuya Station is one of the busiest stations in Japan! At Shibuya Station, you can connect to the Yamanote line, the Narita Express, the Saikyo line, the Tokyo Metro, the Ginza line, the Fukutoshin line, and the Hanzomon line.
Shibuya Station’s Famous Crosswalk

The Surrounding Area
The Shibuya Crosswalk, or Shibuya Scramble, is one of the most well-known iconic symbols of Tokyo and only a few minutes walk from the hotel. There are tons of shops, restaurants, bars, and places to do karaoke. Shibuya is the place you imagine when you think of Tokyo, Japan.
