2. Mitsui Garden Hotel Sanjo
The Mitsui Garden Hotel Sanjo is a quiet hotel surrounded by a Japanese garden. All rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and pocket coil US Serta mattresses.

Higashiyama Area

The rooms are large and well decorated. They come equipped with Simmons beds, an air purifier, and a refrigerator. The hotel also offers a Sento bath, a complimentary coffee and tea lounge, a complimentary gym, 24-hour coin laundry, and one free drink, including alcohol, per person per night.
12. 22 Pieces
22 Pieces gets its name because the hotel only has 22 rooms available for rent. This hotel is geared toward families and groups that are looking for a longer stay.
Each room has multiple beds, a couch, a kitchenette, and free Wi-Fi. They also have pretty nice bikes available for rent. Some rooms come with a terrace that is great for relaxing and having a pre-dinner drink. The hotel is a short 5-minute walk from the JR Kyoto Station.
